Welding precautions for galvanized pipes:

First, the galvanized layer at the weld should be polished off, and the galvanized layer should be cleaned up with a hand wheel or sandpaper, or the galvanized layer should be cleaned up with a gas welding flame. Otherwise, bubbles, trachoma, false welds, etc. will be produced. Pipe diameter greater than 100mm galvanized steel pipe should be flanged or ferrule type special pipe fittings connection.

What factors to pay attention to Machine?

1)  It will reduce the density of the welding current and affect the melting of the base material to form a nucleus. This is mainly due to the lower resistivity and low melting point of zinc. Galvanized sheet steel requires a higher welding current compared to ordinary sheet steel and shows a tendency to decrease the welding current range and increase the welding intermediate value the thicker the coating is.

 

2)  To ensure the welding quality of the welding joint between galvanized steel pipe and flange, the welding joint should be galvanized. Use a hand-grinding wheel or sandpaper to clean the galvanized layer, or use a gas welding flame to remove the galvanized layer.

 

3)  Easy to produce spot welding spatter. We know that spot welding spatter is caused by the rupture or incompleteness of the plastic ring, resulting in the loss of its binding effect on the liquid metal. Considering the poor spot welding performance of galvanized steel, it is easy to produce spot welding spatter. And spot welding spatter has an impact on welding quality, production environment, etc.

Daily maintenance

● After finishing engraving process, make sure the working floor is clean. Then remenber to clean the machine surface, the case of the optical system, the surface of the monitor, the work table, and so on.

● Please turn off each part and main power supply when you are cleaning the machine,avoid the water damaging the the outer and internal settings.
