How Does a Galvanometer System Work in a Laser Engraver?
1. When you ensure start to engrave the project, the computer sends coordinates to the galvanometer system about where and how the laser beam needs to be directed. The galvanometers then will control the mirrors to adjust the beam's location and angle, this is convenient to determines the engraving shape, depth, and detail.
2. A closed-loop control mechanism attaches to the galvanometer system using, which means that the system continually monitors the position of the mirrors and readjusts them in real-time to maintain accuracy and precision. This mechanism ensures that the laser beam accurately follows the intended path and provides sharp, clear engravings.
1. Speed: Gavo laser engravers use a scanning system and a high-speed galvanometer, so they don't require any movement of the laser diode. This allows for much faster engraving speeds compared to XY axis engravers. XY axis engravers may be slower than Gavo laser engravers since their process requires more mechanical movement.
2. Flexibility: Complex, curved, or irregularly shaped objects is more suitable for galvo laser engravers, since the laser beam can be quickly and easily adjusted to follow the contours of the material. By contrast, conventional XY axis laser engravers are typically better-suited for engraving flat surfaces or materials that can be affixed to a flat worktable.
